After the FIM Sidecarcross WChampionship Challenge ended, I noticed a miscalculation on the very last day of the daily average points and so the % of increase.
----------------------------------------All 168 days before WCG and I had the same outcome except for the very last day. The failure is that WCG take the sum of the 169 days of the challenge duration and divided it by 168. I suppose the miscalculation effects all teams and increase challenges. Maybe you can fix this minor 'bug' for future increase challenges. Figures: FIM Sidecarcross WChampionship (enddate 9/13/09) Team: BOINCstats Your (WCG) outcome: 109.20% (326,887 / 156,256) My outcome: 107,96% (324,953 / 156,256) based on 54,917,131 total points during the challenge over 169 days. Hello Jean, Never seen that bugwiki page before but the last sentence could be part of this bug. Last Sentence: "For the current average, the score is calculated as the sum of all the available challenge days (n) divided by n-1. Not fixed (at July 11, 2009)." Except that during the challenge the sum was divided by 'n' and not n-1. In my opinion n-1 is not correct. That's what is done only the last day. I wrote this bug first in my old thread, but althought Kevin posted several messages I got no reaction, perhaps because that thread was called [RESOLVED], so I posted a new thread  |

This was a problem with the calculation after challenges finished. It's been fixed now.

This was a problem with the calculation after challenges finished. It's been fixed now. Crystal Pellet - can you edit the title of this post to include [RESOLVED]? Thanks. Thanks nelsoc for fixing this bug. Someone else already changed the thread-title. After 2 months waiting on a reaction, I didn't daily check this thread anymore  |
