what I think is McDonalds on its way here and all I can smell is bacon!

smile laughing The smell of Bacon has been known to travel at super-sonic speeds for hundreds of miles...or at least from almost anywhere to my nose. It is insane how it gets to a person. My wife will cook 2 or 3 strips to break into little chunks to put in her green beans (which makes them great by the way). Makes me crazy if I am in the house at the time...and she won't cook me an extra piece. coffee

DANG! Now I'm gonna smell bacon all day! laughing

Well, it only lasted for about an hour and a half, but that was long enough to drive me nuts! I am plagued by food smells quite often here. I am about a half mile from a main drag here. I don't know how many fast food places and restaurants there are on it, but there are enough that I am very often overwhelmed by food smells. I live on the top (5th) floor of my building and that is just above the trees in the area which makes for better air (and smell) movement. I am thankful that there isn't a sewage treatment facility or garbage dump among the smells.

Nah son. You're about to get torched. I sold my roommate the old quad (offline for BOINC) and replaced it with an 860 i7 with water-cooling and a HAF case. Soon going to upgrade graphics and run dual card (not sli).

Dave got me yesterday. I had a bacon cheeseburger for lunch then some bacon wrapped shrimp for supper. i topped it off with bacon and eggs this morning. i may be baconed out.....nah, i love bacon
