You're absolutely correct! Reaching the Ruby level badge is a great achievement, but I seriously ain't a fan of the color red (pure as a colour, not the achievement level). I also don't favour one project over another; I'll try to reach an overall 2 years per project. |

Why not crunch the projects you feel closest too, the badges a sign to the interested of how much the contributions to your favored projects were? Ruby is half a year and that's what I see looking at a badge. A great contribution, considering the whole project has accumulated 2,639 years to date. As for the flue project moniker, the official one is FLU1, which you can see if you visit the project statistics page. There's a FLU2 on the boards but that one is entirely open as to when that would be coming. First the 9 targets of phase 1 will be studied. personaly.. i do crunch the projects that i am intrested in (and the parts of that reserch i am intrested in.. big problem is i have TOO MANY intrests. and every project deserves some time crunched from me... personaly i have goten one to blue and trying to get all the ones im intrested to green at least... the ones i am kinda intrested in will probaly be at gold... the ones im less intrested will probaly get bronze or silver.. depending on what peaks my intrest at the time... for some reson i though rice was almost over so i stoped on it for a bit but now i know i can get to the 1 year mark witout it ending i am makeing that strive. also alot of medicins that come out in the world are also good for other things as well (and are found out later) I have lost people I cared about to cancer I have lost people i cared about to AIDS I have lost people I cared about to the flu I have even lost people to Dingue fevor that i knew the rice project sounds intresting and may be a problem solver I am incredably intrested in alternitive energy and that tech (but for some reson the CEP WU's had problems on my computers) so i shifted to other projects I am also conserned about other diseases that are out there. so yes i am crunching the projects i feel close to... ( i also use BOINC and if you look at my stats you will see that rigth now pretty much i am curently only running WCG cause i feel closerst to these projects) need to knock out a few of these diseases so i have less to choose from  |
