(First, excuse my so bad english, but you know, I'm a french cruncher... blushing )

Hello my friends !
I think it's time now to push the button of your PC "ON" !
Hollidays are finished now, no ???
I have 29 WU in pending validation (22 HCMD2 !!!) crying

Please, don't let the time going away ! There is a lot of "TOO LATE" in this moment...

So, please, put your PC ON ! wink

Please be patient !
I don't think that setting people under pressure is an appropriate manner to encourage people and especially co-crunchers.
Not everybody does maintain a short buffer.
  • Buffer size could be a reason for a longer pending time (some hosts maintain over 5 or 8 days of work in the cache)
  • The performance difference between hosts can cause significant delay by validating WUs (e.g. one high performance host can compute within 6 or 8 hours the same work what will be crunched within 2 or 3 generations by slower systems).
  • Some hosts could experience trouble by estimating the WUs duration and it can be cause some "too late" replies.

Based on such facts, I recommend that you should stay patient. Your computed WUs will be anyway validated.

and #4: Some users runs multiple projects, even if they're got a small cache and a fast machine, it can take many days before it's WCG's turn again.
