Hello. I am just about to cancel a HPF2 WU (ms996_00017_8) that has been stuck at 83.924% progress on my system - dual core Intel Centrino, 3G memory, WinXP, BOINC 6.6.31. Elapsed time has now exceeded 19 hours and the progress has not changed for several hours. Please let me know if there is anything else you want me to post for debugging purposes.

Quick update:
Before aborting I decided to suspend and resume the WU, and it appears to now be progressing again. I'll leave it run to completion now (hopefully should take about 3 hours). Best regards. |

Coincidence that LAIM (Leave application in memory when preempted) comes up the second time today. If that is off, the science unloads and goes back to the last good checkpoint. The number 1 work around to get a HPF2 job running again. In 99.9999999% of the cases they then just smoothly finish and validate, once quorum minimum has been reached.
