Think my client is drunk again (a meaningless title, which is why it's in Chat)

So have this quad client that sits at 3 days buffer and had not been pulling work for a while trying to fetch DDDT & Beta when I switched profile to HCMD2/CEP mix. It's one of those brand new clients, 2 point releases after the Berkeley recommended 6.6.36 release. Well somehow this client has been having to much of the grappa, not DOC, and had been plotting CEP jobs with 1 hour to go, after 1 hour with 14% as progress. So when changing the profile, here landed 150 HCMD2 jobs in the buffer, all with 1:07 minutes TTC, when the last few were actually running 4 hours and longer. Yes it's HP time again soon as the first will be completing, so am trying 6.6.39. There was talk of that and sure to have seen a tag note, but it's not listed on the download pages. Going out and will see what's up tonight. Mayhem probably.

Trying to follow your post is very difficult...

Hmm, any reason for having a very low DCF, like some very short beta-wu's or something, or isn't very any reason for this?

If the DCF is too low, the estimated run-times and so on is just like with v5.10.xx, so your only problem is why DCF is so low...

As for v6.6.39, it is a tag, but it's only available as self-build. Also, it only contains some extra debug-logging for GPU-scheduling over v6.6.38. Most of the bug-fixes to v6.6.38 is still only listed in /trunk, and not under the v6.6.xx-branch.

Re: Think my client is drunk again (a meaningless title, which is why it's in Chat)

We say here after 14:00 Good Evening so Tonight is here. No this post was not designed for the easy to follow. Try make sense of a drunk customer aka client. Sure enough total chaos and BOINCview confirmed that now with a 3 day buffer on a quad thus 12 days needed, the size has bloated to 66 days worth of it and all running in HP. Seeing the closer PV jail attendees all getting worked up, but I'm the last to abort work. After all, HCMD2 jobs project mean is 3.06 hours and not 5 and the CEP jobs sitting there are not 26 hours but 7.5, so we'll see what happens after the automatic abstinence to bring on some sobrietat.

Yes ubriaco da felicità we will be when the little pointed heads wise up. As wine ripens with age, senior man do too (rules of golf starting 50), albeit slower, the first station to check was rDCF, then (not when) 1.35 and now 1.46. I think there is some code up a certain creek that has Elapsed and CPU time confused fumbling with the TTC. Code fixes in the trunk(?), it takes longer to become a proper branch for all my observations. My bet some months ago was 6.6.45 and still is.

Not interest right now though... The evening dish needs preparing... Paella, abbastanza piccante come i cucina Abruzzese... yummy drooling
