Hi.
I was just wondering if credit is calculated in a different way for this sub-project than for the others? The reason I ask is that I just noticed quite a few 'low' returns and, upon looking, this sub-project averages a much lower percentage of claim than the others. For example, my main machine has received the following percentage of claimed credit (for each sub project):
This is all for the same machine, under the same conditions and configuration. ![]() MacDitch |

The calculation base is the same for all subprojects. What you are seeing is that part of the calculation relys on other machines in the quorum for each WU and the HPF2 project has a larger than average number of slower computers so they bring your "credited" value down a little more than on other projects.

Steve Hmm, really? I would've thought since HCMD2 has the lowest memory requirement it would have the slower machines dedicated to it. |

HCMD2 Is indeed a good project for the smallest machines, not only because of its low memory requirement but also because the duration of WUs is limited.
----------------------------------------However it is not limited to these machines and many big crunchers are dedicated to this project. Jean. |

OK. Thanks for the answer guys.
I have to admit that I usually pay zero attention to the requirements as I've yet to find a project I can't work on; maybe I should start! |
