A ruby here or there doesn't hurt; back in the Rice days I didn't know anything about WCG and also didn't have much firepower. Sapphires come to easy now a days. I'm gunning for 100 years of HCC as my current goal, shouldn't be much longer, under 2 weeks.

I'm gunning for 100 years of HCC as my current goal, shouldn't be much longer, under 2 weeks. I should say a Bronze here and there. When I started with WCG I naively thought that I would have the time to reach Sapphire "one day" with IADS as I also did have little crunching power back then. I was very suprised when the project completed with me just on Bronze. Pretty frustrated. I did better when I switched to crunch NRW and DDDT. After a while I had to choose as I could not reach both on Sapphire. I concentrated on NRW who went to be my first Sapphire, and DDDT stopped at gold. After that Sapphires started to come in, and DDDT2 was the exception. Even with all the crunching power available, getting WU's was a nightmare so I stopped at gold and concentrate on other projects 100 years on a project is a pretty nice symbolic target. Good luck. I concentrate now on having each long running project at 30 years. Target is in order HCC 30 years - "done" HFCC 30 years - "4 years left" crunching at present. HCMD2 30 years - "2 years left" - when they will restart. FAAH 30 years - "14 years left"  |

However, it will be a long time til I reach that point. I have been slowly transfering more crunching power to DSFL as I get closer to my goal.  |
