Well that' makes me feel better,
----------------------------------------1099, so 100 to go... My wife showed me the electric bill, I said the furnace is the increase in the winter, uses an electric start motor, so we compromised; we keep the heat up, and I keep crunching :) The 2 digit club however isn't happening til I win the lottery, or I pick a penny stock that goes in the opposite direction of the ones I've picked so far.  |

edited to appropriate forum language - ErikaT Many thank's for the correction Erika.  I completely lost my mind and my selfcontrol on words, when I realized how little is the number of steps that remain to climb to the cruncher's Nirvana, and at the same time how high each of those steps are. Ok now I am back in control.  Passed the 110 years milestone.   |

I also got an i7 last week replacing my 8 year old dual core which died suddenly. Eight processors...wow... it can crunch!!

Or a year ain't what it used to be... I thought it was a side effect of getting older, but now I have hard numbers saying that a year in this day and age passes by in little more than a month  I was thinking that the "top 25,000" would be a reasonable goal, but now it's starting to look like top 10k might be within reach. Beyond that, we'll see. And congrats to the centenarians! |

Knocked off another major milestone: 60 TeraFlops : Points Generated (Rank) 42,039,132 (#492)
Yesterday 96,403 users at WCG did 520 Teraflops and it has taken me 2.5 years to do 60 TF. What an awesome system. I hope what we are doing amounts to something worthwhile some day. |
