To WCG Adm and Tech teams,
----------------------------------------once ACAH have a distinct time targets for bronze, silver and gold badges, I guess that you need do a distinct consideration for the times related with this new badges just released... I just note today too, the fact that just for ACAH project the times to get badges have a distinct multiplier reason compared with any other projects. It appear be a little bit strange that ACAH do not follow the same rules than other projects, about its multipliers times among badges... So, it is just a humble observation to left for your consideration about maybe some fix or adjustments in ACAH, and to establish the same compliance rules for any project, including futures ones with reduced or amplied times to get badges (due special conditions like ACAH): Badges - ACAH - Other projects bronze - 1d - 14d 1st multiplier - 7 - 3.21 silver - 7d - 45d 2nd multiplier - 4.28 - 2.00 gold - 30d - 90d 3rd multiplyer - ? - 2.00 rubi - ? - 180d 4th multiplyer - ? - 2.02 emerald - ? - 1y 5th multiplyer - ? - 2.00 sapphire - ? - 2y 6th multiplier - ? - 2.00

And just note too, that if we pass the pointer over the ACAH badge in any place, appear the same rule of time that any other project...

This pop-up error was already reported in the back-room, not being in step with the actual times of achievement.
----------------------------------------For those readers that not already know, the reason of deviation was there only being 33,000 work units, not 1/12th of the current daily production of the WCG. As such I championed the reduction of the levels for this project. knreed somewhere posted a before and after on who had the badges for this project. Still very few. Would there be anyone with 60 days on ACAH-1? PS: Presumably ACAH2 will have the standard rules of attainment, but who knows how this project will pan out. Certainly it will have it's own badge as a phase 2 if it gets there.

...Would there be anyone with 60 days on ACAH-1?... I know some guys with at least 2 years in ACAH (according yours ACAH sapphire badge, despite of the pop-up error mentioned...). Just take a look at Uplinger, Esoteric17, and so on...

I know some guys with at least 2 years in ACAH (according yours ACAH sapphire badge, despite of the pop-up error mentioned...). What are you on about? ACAH ran for 289578 hours. That makes an average of 37 mins per WCG member. I missed out on gold by 1.5 days, but getting even close to that required effort. It does raise the question of what the higher badges do mean in ACAH though. Presumably, when they fix the text on the badges, we'll find out. |

GIBA, you are being mislead by the wrong labels, the help section not expanding. The project had a total of 33 CPU years. No-one done 2 years that I can imagine, but esoteric17 can confirm. The levels are just right to me, so a fair bit of contributors had a chance at a batch, if only for the extreme effort needed to pick up even a few.
----------------------------------------I calculated from the post that knreed made at the time 20.8 years as at March. Leaves very little room for anyone, to pick up 1 or 2 years each. Anyway, I've asked the admin to look at the incorrect labelling and expand the description for ACAH which only mentions them through the gold level, which was 30 days.

If sticking to doubling step principle after 30 days for ACAH gold, I'd have expected 60 for ruby, 120 for Emerald, 240 for Sapphire. 124 days is absolutely amazing. Dedicated ACAH machines would have been idling most of the times unless also having the Alternate work option on.
----------------------------------------Anyway, I've bumped the issue a few times with additional (cosmetic) polishings needed. cheers added:, snippet "... I updated the web site and forgot that the forums don't pull from the same place. If you look at My Grid, Member Info, or Compare Members, the text has the correct number of days. I'll update the FAQ shortly..." and there is shows that sapphire is granted for 75 days and my silver is good for 7, which it is.
