I would really like to see the badges you guys give out on my personal stats pages the Bok produces. Your badges are cool and letting others see them that don't know about WCG would help promote your projects.
Remember, the more people who see the neat things you guys do, the more will come over to crunch. |

De Bok could since the information is enclosed in the export XMLs, but WCG developed this in-house and a few projects copy-catted and implemented similar. In Fact a team mate now produces an automated avatar from the export... team exclusive off course. Sample:

It would require screenscraping of every user then though, unless I'm mistken as I don't see it anywhere in the main exports.
I think it's going back to what I asked a few months ago, if an xml export of the subproject data could be made available similar to wat Primegrid and Yoyo@Home provide as a bolt-on to Boinc or something similar... Bok |

Here's an example of the xml that can be pulled (and see a few bits that need completing ;>)

Right and I can do that for select individuals, but there isn't a global file correct ? I don't think you would want me performing 243000 retrievals to get each users data

Well, have given a hint in the back-room. A few more wanted this and it is no doubt inefficient for WCG too to have 243,000 calls in no time ;>). To narrow the volume down, how many at WCG have an account at your stats site? You're always ad lib to contact support and lay out what's wanted.
----------------------------------------Added: As of yet, WCG has not given green light to export individual by-project data. It's though public for Teams since a short while, if that has an interest.

Cool. Thanks for that ! Any kind of data as long as it had the id/cpid in would work..but I'd be happy to talk to the Primegrid/Yoyo@Home people and get their code if that would help..
I don't require accounts at Free-DC to see the stats, they are completely open to the public so who knows. I'm getting 100,000 hits per day but I've not looked into the breakdown of which projects they are going to. I do think it would be a great addition and perhaps incentive for people to crunch more.. Sekerob, please provide bok with the information he needs.

Sekerob, I second the request by Bok, and Vaughan-AMD, as Free-DC Stats are of the most desired stats when it comes to complete breakdown and user friendliness.

It's not what you want or me recommending to the techs, it's what they and the admin consider that can be given green light in the first place as being fine for mass export. It's not an issue of the yes please do on this forum by multiple request, but respecting that some might NOT want this to happen anyone having insight in their detail contributions by project. Albeit, once there would be a 100 year badge, it's open for all to see that in the member contribution list. When it gets green light, the work has to be scheduled. Most everything done here is, lest hands down easy 5 minutes. Often techs will accommodate that. I cannot judge if it would be, nor will I speculate how much is involved to include impact on the twice and 4x a day stats update loads.
----------------------------------------As for the team detail project, just append the &xml=true to the Team Stats page and you get it in good importable format. See no reason why that could not be collected in an mass export file, so we'll have to wait what the techs will schedule and develop. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/viewTe...=G45XNJBR9N1&xml=true
