Yes, thank you both, and, later today, when 24 hours have passed, I will look for results - at the moment, last result is still 6/6/2008 - a few seconds before last midnight. Hi Keith Let me tell you something that did already in private , I am not not one of those techs with a lot of knowledge in computer matters So it was stated in your first post But , but I do help quite a nr of members and this is not to be seen one of the reazons is because they don´t post, but e- mail me Easy going Keith , I don´t want to feel that I must hurry .to become a CA ,. ,, no way  Quite frankly and why not say it, feel that I give all the best of me in order to make of this forums a more pleasant place to be Is easy to see my different threads in this respect, and here I finish and not coming back on the issue of speaking of myself again Respect and to help others must or should be a virtue of us humans, and are and have been two of my main principles in my life Cheers and thanks again to you and all JP well spoken... |

True keith has said it all. Acting on advice from him, Tedi, JP and Alan, I have reinstalled BOINC and there seems to be some effect:
----------------------------------------Human Proteome folding phase 2: Solvation varies Solvation: 145.30 Max202.43 Min 8.19 Res-Res Pair -2.15 Max -0.90 Min-8.84 H Bonds -2.10 Max -0.06 Min -12.95 Current Progress: varies around 50% Results per calender day 0.11 So it seems I have to wait about 9 days before I know if I have a single result! I am going round on Tuesday morning and will check on all the settings....could be that it is only being activated as a screensaver, but I will set Harolds PC to be crunching in the most efficient manner......and have a cup of coffee!  |
