Completed packets not uploading
I've had 2 work units completed on one of my computers for 2 days and they won't upload. The Internet connection has been checked 7 ways from Sunday and is in PERFECT condition. What's the problem??

Please post the messages from your messages tab. Your problem may be related to the recent server work announced in the Known Issues forum.

Seeing 2 results successfully uploaded... were it these?

There's a recent Start Here FAQ for some steps to follow when comms becomes troublesome. Just had one CEP result file refusing upload, counter running infinitely without a 'retry' indicator, no message log entries. First attempt, suspending network communication via the BOINC Manager activity menu. Waited few seconds, set Network Activity Always On an up it went.

PS: plz edit your log post and xxxxx out the account name.

No, the completed packets are still awaiting upload on this computer, and I have another computer with a packet that's been waiting to upload since yesterday also.

The posts(s) are so old the 'edit' choice is long gone. I've been around computers long enough to realize this option when it disappears. Thanks for the unobtainable fix.

I have rebooted my computers and have done 'timeouts' on my router, all to NO AVAIL. The standard cookie cutter, run-of-the-mill pseudo-fixes aren't working. Time to get out the big guns who know what they're doing to fix this.

I'll tell you what, I'm going to delete the WCG software from this computer and the other (dual boot) Windows 7 RC on it and reinstall Folding @ Home. Thanks anyway,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

When you're signed in to the forum with the ID of the person who made the post, and scroll back to a post made in the last 60 days, you can still edit them. Been around long enough here at WCG wink

As for guns, did you read the FAQ?
