Windows 7 is still rockin'!
----------------------------------------I just compiled a DVD of movie clips and it rendered it out in 4 hours. Vista 64 never even finished it! Let's hope they don't change too much between RC1 and RTM cause it's working great right now! And yes, the movie clips were of the adult nature, for those that were curious!

Can someone mail me a Windows 7 install cd? I'll pay for shipping and the cost of the dvd! None of my pcs are currently capable of burning a dvd and my VISTA installation on my c drive on my ibuypower quad has $h!+ itself. The guys at tech support say that Mr Gates is going to charge me for another install of VISTA. It is academic anyway since I lost the DVD while moving into my new apartment (still sorting through all my junk, ps, this is why I haven't been talking on the forums much recently).

By the way, ironically enough I'm now sharing an office with a chaplain from Campus Crusade for Christ! Really nice guy but wow, out there theologically!

On the second one I tried "Upgrade" rather than a clean install. What a mess!!! If every single program is not Win7 compatible, it will blow up at some point. This attempt took three times as long and finally blew up anyway. I suspect it was because my virus program is not compatible with Win7. It did a good job of recovering to the original state though. Congradulations to Gerald for returning his first result at GPUGrid!!!  Well thanks i did not know. I don't know what happened--that comp.has Win7 on it And another one joins the fold! Great work Gerald. Don't forget to join MOT over there too!  Thats the first thing i did--but my card is still not right--thinking about changing to Win 7 x64--I had Ubuntu 9.04 working but something went wrong--i shouldnt have****with it |
