Do what mclaver did... abort the stuck download to clear the path and let us know if that resolves it.

Hi Saul Luizaga,
----------------------------------------Your messages look the identical as Crazy_DeY's, so why not do same as what s/he and mclaver did... simple abort the download. A short FAQ: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewthread?thread=25999

Hi again, it worked perfectly thanks. I didn't want to lose any work units, but I think I lost many precious hours waiting for the client solve it for me. I'd suggest this to the dev. team so this don't happen again, since many people won't know what is going on, let alone try to solve it or look for help on forums, most of them just will let it be or don't even open the WCG Client to check its status; big 'Black Whole' for The Grid performance.
Cheers. |

Cheers. I agree with you, I lost two days of processing on a quad while I waited for this propblem to fix itself, because I do not like Aborting workunits. I tried rebooting and everything. Once I did finally abort the Wu everything freed up and was working normal. - Mitch ![]() ![]() ![]() |
