I understand that the results on all projects on World Community Grid are in "public domain."
I wonder how and where I can get the actual results obtained by HDC. What I mean is not the analysis and summary based on these results, but the actual data (perhaps cleansed and/or organized) that can be used to obtain my own analysis or to verify the analysis and summary provided by the research team. |

You cannot. The data is part of building a database and that will be put on line when time comes similar to the Genome Comparison projec, see Newsletter Q2-09, last chapter of Projects update: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/newsletter/09Q2/viewProjects.do.

That's completely BS, and against the spirit of this whole community project. You are essentially taking donated time (and goodwill) from the community to create private solutions / product, that you are going to sell to the pharmaceutical industry. I do not believe the statement that it will be "put online at some undisclosed time in the future".
I am appalled at this completely shamefaced example of using the goodwill of people for capital gain. I will never contribute any more time to any project here on this World COMMUNITY Grid. |

Hold on there blowing fumes. You respond in your first post ever, with seeming near zero contribution to WCG at that to a post made 18 months ago... well you registered today so for all we know you're a drive by.
----------------------------------------The database IS life now and fully accessible to scientists around the world! If interested to find out, post again, but before, please take the pressure off the kettle. cheers.

Saw this by coincidence and after some clicking, here the full article of an HDC item featured in the WCG News section # 175
