Sometimes, and especialy this morning, I receiv that sort of messages in Boinc :
03/06/2009 09:56:25|World Community Grid|Scheduler request failed: Server returned nothing (no headers, no data) I guess that there are some problems, or maintenance, or any sort of slowong down or issue. I know some wise advisor will tell me to be patient, and he or she will be completely right... I just wonder if we could receive a general e-mail of alert in those cases, which would help us to be patient..? But maybe it would be too much work for our very busy advisors and techs ? This is just a question, and in no case a complaint ! Thanks to all. |

This is more frequently caused by a temporary network issue on your end.

A not so wise advisor would say "sod it, I'll detach before accepting any 'general' email for every network hickup".
