Re: WUs looping under Linux

my 13 "looping" WUs have finally passed their "blocking" positions and completed.

In fact only 11 have finished. There are still two running but I am hopeful. smile

One is still on its first blocking position at 8.176 % after 3:40 hours.
The other one is chewing its second wall at 37.735 % after 8:05 hours (the first one was at 8.805 % and took more than 4 hours)!

I only hope that my wingmen are not P3s... Jean. biggrin

Re: WUs looping under Linux

So far none of these apparently looping WUs has been really looping, they only look like they are.
If you have no other strong reason to do it do not abort them, they will finish successfully.

Good luck. Jean.

Re: WUs looping under Linux

These WUs seem to run correctly (runtime and TTC changing normally, and CPU at 100 %) but the percentage does not change, no checkpoint is taken and the temperature of the processor is a few degrees below its usual one at 100 % use.

Checked the temperature and this is true for my P4 as well. It's running a good 6 degrees below what it would usually be at 100% CPU. (17C above ambient, instead of 23+C.) That's a huge difference.
