Re: Temporary work unit shortage

Hi Viktors

Out of curiosity how much disk space does a typical project take and are all the results kept for the duration of the project or are the results summarised to only promising targets ?

I am just curious and only interested in approximates.

Kind regards

Lufty

If Viktors does not mind I will field this one ...

Associated with each protein target are the best docked structures for each of ~3 million small "drug-like" molecules. These structures take up ~250 GBytes of disk space. At present, we store all data generated by World Community Grid in preparation for Phase II (summer launch?). After Phase II, we will compile and post a listing of the most promising docked small molecules. The summary set will likely contain several thousand structures.

Re: Temporary work unit shortage

Phase II will be separated project or it will be just internal phases? I know it might be early to ask but how is the progress with IADS so far?

Re: Temporary work unit shortage

Phase II will be the same project, but different code.

Too early to assess IADS - we have just begun to analyze the results from the first target.
