--- I would like to know if it is possible to set Boinc to run the wu not in order of receipt, but depending on the deadline. Some units come with a deadline shorter than those already in cache, and sometimes they go beyond the deadline, with Boinc too soon to calculate them. They end by moving high priority, but despite that this is not always enough to go back in time. If there is a manip to do in this respect, I'm interested. ![]() |

No.
If you have problems meeting deadlines, shorten your queue. |

Dommage.
--- Damage. The file is only 1 days now, the concern stems mostly Beta units which have a very short deadline, an estimated duration often very far from reality and whose status "high priority" arrives very late. I will therefore continue to manually start, pending a possible improvement of Boinc accordingly. ![]() |

This will have the effect that BOINC will switch into "high priority" much earlier than now, minimizing the chance of missing the deadline. You should decrease "Maintain enough work for an additional N days" to get similar cache-size as before. ![]() "I make so many mistakes. But then just think of all the mistakes I don't make, although I might." |
