Hello, I have questions, quite often I found that some tasks are "running" but not computed. I mean that they are onted up to some percentage (indifferent) and than it still looks like the task is computing but there no progress in CPU time and Remaining Time. But no new task is started and my CPU usage goes to 75% (have 4-cores). Sometimes if i paused the task and that resurect it, it is computed but the delays, when my comuter does not count is quite annoying...
Thanks anybody for help |

capule,
----------------------------------------As you can see your problem as you described it has not inspired many comments. If it is still happening frequently you should provide more information on your environment. A simple and efficient way to begin with is to copy the start of your message log into your next post to let readers know how Boinc is installed in your computer. You might also say a few words on the other programs which are active in your machine when you experience this problem. Some programs are using the power of a full core even when they are waiting for your input on their main menu. However in that case your system monitor should show 100 % usage which does not seem to be the case. Cheers. Jean. |
