On Friday we broke through the 325 Tera-flop sustained crunching threshold for a second time and now, Saturday we surpassed the CPU record too for this weekend day doing 263 CPU years. That made us set a new all time 7 day average of 329.4 TFL.
----------------------------------------Expectations are high for Sunday to push that even further and then we'll be very close to doing 2,000 CPU years in a 7 consecutive day period. Last 7 day stand at 1,970.03. For reference, last Sunday we did 261 CPU years and we almost always do better on this day than Saturday. Awesome Crunchin' People, We Are! Edit: and the T2K target chart to go with this: Edit2: Chart now shows a merge of Teraflops and CPU years, one 7 day sliding Average, other 7 day sliding total.

Hi guys,
----------------------------------------First post here after a few months lurking the forum. Joined this mighty mean machine back in April after a long time deciding to join up from being a UD refugee Only got 1 dual-core crunching here but every bit helps. Wish I had more to contribute but I can't convince any friends or family to "lend a core" and unable to use the works PCs! But that's another story, ah well.... Anyhow, good to be here and crunch on folks! Regards, GH |

Think the chart below with reconstructed TFlops back to July 1, 2007 does a fair job. Examples nicely whilst we lost reported Run Time converting to CPU time, the flop count held up suggesting little loss in the process. It included the usual holiday season fall off, so in fact think we did pretty good in fact.
----------------------------------------Anyway, weekend crunching exceeded the previous record by 28 CPU years, so expect the 7 day 2,000 hurdle to be taken very soon. We nearly matched the previous high yesterday. Crunch On Edit: Note that the Holiday Fall off is exactly that. Switching off the computer and switch it on after. Usually the full force is back by mid to late September.

By the looks best Monday morning ever at 150 CPU years, almost 5 over the previous first [western] work day morning high. Needing 160 for the afternoon to scale the 2,000 mark for 7 days consecutive.
----------------------------------------(now where is that manual late validation button ;>) NB: My 'morning' history record does not go further than June 1 unfortunately.
