New work units coming

We are temporarily out of work units on the Clean Energy Project. However, we are testing a new kind of work unit for this project before sending them out on the grid. Thanks for you patience!

confused Re: New work units coming

Based on the progress so fare the wu E000589_ 517B_ 002b0k00m_ 4--
which I'm currently are crunching on a Q6600 @ 3.6GHz will take 3000 hours to finish.
So fare I have crunched 0.05% after 1.5 hour.

Is this normal or should I abort the wu?

Re: New work units coming

Simplex0, I'd be tempted to leave it running for a little longer - it might just "sort itself out"...

I've had quite a few where the estimated time to complete have been way, way, way out - and then they finish in a reasonable time.

Re: New work units coming

Thanks for the advise, I will keep an eye on it.
Currently 0.05% done after 2 hours.

Hmm... 0.175% after 5 hours, it still looks like it will take 3000 hours
to finnish if it continues like this.

Is there an upper limit on how many hours a wu should take to crunch?
