As explained few months ago, 6 and up can do that with RICE. Last weeks test confirms that it's still the case on my duo-xp (6.10). It's so rare and random, that a fix from the science development side is not expected... got to know the cause after all and effort versus gain needs to be measurable and not in the far fringe.
