Today we experienced another issue with our SSL module. We had scheduled a preventative reboot of the load balancers for tomorrow but unfortunately that was one day too late.

During the past 2 hours members would have experienced trouble logging into the website and the boinc clients would have had trouble communicating with our servers. This issues is resolved and they will automatically communicate shortly.

Cisco has recommended that we upgrade the software on these load balancers to a more recent version. We have held off on this action, due to the risk of an extended outage due to issues with the software, until after we have completed the launch of the Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy - Phase 2 and Influenza Antiviral Drug Search projects.
