Without knowing then that we would later see these out-of-sequence parents for 2241 to 2249 (just seen here) and counting, rewood1000 clearly observed the gap in batch numbers during 29-30 Dec in this post
However, in the space of this evening I received parents for 2233, then 2237, then 2240, then 2251, and last 2253.
So perhaps this out-of-sequence run will finish with 2250?
A small step backwards for the estimated research progress, a small bonus for the badge-hunters.

Well, if anyone's still trying to figure out this crazy scheduler I managed to download some 2342 parents before it went back to descendant results.

I'm still seeing parent 2342 appearing, in amongst offspring. Batches 2342, 2343, 2344 have more positions per batch than most recent ones, according to the researcher chart at http://graal.ens-lyon.fr/~nbard/WCGStats/. But the following one, 2345, is tiny.
