Upgrading BOINC
Hi, I have a version 5 BOINC and wish to update to the latest version. How can I do this without loosing the current task and without re registering the device in wcg.

What version should I upgrade to?

Use the version recommended by WCG, just click on "download now" on the home page. The current recommended version is 6.2.28.

To install, simply shut down your old client and install the new one right over top. You won't lose any work.
