I`m getting low scores?

Hello everyone,
I think I have a huge problem here.
I work with WCG boinc manager (6.2.28 I guess),I`m getting seriously low scores.
I had my E8400@4.2GHz running before,I got like 4-7,000 points,but now with my new Core I7 920 (8 threads) I get only 1,000 points a day.
I think my stats don`t update correctly,I`m running my new CI7 for 5-6 days now,and my stats stuck at "in progress" from 3th may.
I can`t figure what is wrong here, hope you guys can.
Thanks.

Please check your device profile to make sure you are not using the default of 60% CPU utilization.

Hello dany74q,

Re: I`m getting low scores?

Hi,

According to BOINCstats history you have not produced anything making a dent since about April 25 and except for 1 day almost a week nothing at all. If you open up the BOINC Manager, Advanced View and the Statistics tab, what that does the history show? Is the device registered to dany74q ? Also in taskmanager, can you see WCG science processes taking CPU time and what %? And of course, is your CPU actually on max performance or in idle energy saving mode?

http://boincstats.com/stats/user_graph.php?pr=wcg&id=570030

Finally, for starters, can you post your Start Up BOINC message log, first 30 lines or so. That will give us the basics in machine and setup information.

Re: I`m getting low scores?

The fact that your user stats didn't update on the 7th of May and show zero for the 6th, coupled with the fact that BOINC immediately reported complete tasks but didn't ask for more work, makes me strongly suspect that this computer simply wasn't running yesterday, or at least not running BOINC.

Perhaps we could have a look at stdoutdae.txt to confirm or suggest new ideas?

Forgot to mention that I`m using now Windows 7,not linux.
And I can`t find that file, that`s my directory-

BTW,I`m not talking about yesterday (Which BOINC manager was active as far as I know),I`m talking about 6000 points that my I7 did in a week.
Something is wrong..

Re: I`m getting low scores?

This line in your log

5/8/2009 2:00:24 PM||Data directory: C:\ProgramData\BOINC

tells where to find the stdoutdae.txt file

It should contain all the BOINC event information for all that went on before. The BOINC stats history chart starting on May 6 suggests that prior information got lost though or a brand new installation was made.

Re: I`m getting low scores?

From your log I gather that all should be fine and if you run it 24/7 your machine should start showing 20000 points or more a day for the 8 core processor that's recognised, but not if you put it to sleep for 14 hours ;>)
