Now that I have achieved Blue Badge, I have thrown over 100 WUs back into the pool. Good luck fellow crunchers! Thanks so much, not sure my machines picked up any...I'm currrently on track to do 361 days of the FLU.... Argh My laptop gave out just as the project was sending out final... Shoulda gone and bought a cheap old dual core or something to make up the dif...but thta's insane. I'll wait til next year. The I9 sounds like a good upgrade for my Q6600 Arrgh! That's too bad and so frustrating. When I saw that Influenza was coming to an end and I still needed nearly a year of results to get blue, I switched all machines over and increased the caches to pull as many as I could. That still would leave me short, so I built a new i7 rig and set it to working hard. With all machines processing the WUs in high priority, I surprised myself to reach the target with a few calendar days to spare! I can honestly say that the i7 got a good burn in and since moving back to rice, temperatures in the system have dropped a couple of degrees. The i9 will allow you to process more WUs simultaneously. I was so used to checking Task Manager and seeing 4 cores running at 25% each. Checking the i7 takes some gettting used to when you see cores running at 12-13%. It'll look weird to see 8-9% on an i9! As far as I am concerned, the i7 was a good step up. I will in time move the new i7 up to i9 and put the i7 into another board. Because both processors are 1366, you might well find some deals in the second hand market when the i9 is released and people 'move up' It does seem hard to believe that I could even becontemplating retiring a quad core when for many dual core is still the norm. Funny old world, but good news for WCG! Crunching in memory of my Mum PEGGY, cousin ROPPA and Aunt AUDREY. |

Got green. Now reaching for or turning blue. Let's see... Is this for HIV or Infuenza Antiviral Drugs are different every year. They change from year to year or maybe Im wrong... Marcia"s funeral was today, she was 35 years old died from a wrong-ful death decision from county corners office. Marcia decided in would be in her families best interest to not have any more bill of any kind. They just lost there house in Norwalk and had to moue into a one bedroom apartment, \went to the los angels county hospital cause she didnt have the money or insurance. She was bleeding from the gums, nose, and urinary tract.. Marcia sat in a waiting room for two days and on the third she got her own room with a bed. She had two blood transfusions. Her platlett count was 8,500 and with a min of 10000 to be safe. She tested positive for leukemia, but they needed to run test on her bone marrow. She had high white blood cell and she was anemic. She couldn't breath. properly for sufficient oxygen . The nurse practioner man or women is to have an assistant with during ??? procedure to test what kind of leukemia. She died during this procedure. They should have checked y upper body cavity for blood and drained, needed to constantly watch her breathing during this procedure. Possible raised giving her platletts, because low platlett count is probably from cancer. She was yellow skinned before she went to he hs. She had yellow skin going to the hospital, anemic also.. Isn't bleeding, breathing and shock constitute an emergency situation. Whats the lack of concern on this immediate cause for attention. Once they found out is was cancer, low platlets, bleeding occuring through different part of body, check the chest cavity for blood. There final statement stated Marica was recesitated several times with to much time the decision was to stop cause she was already brain dead. The poor staffing and incompentent management decisions ended in her termination. She would have had a better chance staying at home... The medical attendant could not put the (hose) tube down her throat, why? two much fluid or just incompentent. she probably had an heartattack, if she didnt she had of drown or choked until, but if she choked or drowned how did they revive her several times like they claimed, Or did Marcia just go to sleep from the Morphine. Maybe from lack of blood and the morphine could have something to do with it. They had to give insulin but she is not diabetic.her blood sugar was high. Third day in the hospital and What is worse than a third world country. We need better planning for split decision needs like breathing and bleeding. http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/mvnp...m/images/emotion/rose.gif . Two Weeks Three days in hospital and that totaled visible signs of Acute Myeloid leukemia until death. .... ....Im sure Marica can hear us now. Marcia was a great person ...I will miss u http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/mvnp...tion/rose.gifmuch.....Who will be first in Bronze, Silver & Gold? |
