We experienced an extended unexpected outage today. The web servers locked up and we are still investigating what happened. The initial suspect is that a backup job misbehaved. However, we have more digging to do to figure out what happened for sure.

However, at this time everything is back in operation. The servers are handling the catch up load just fine and work is being distributed very quickly.
