An application for converting .htm files into parts of posts?

I've accumulated a lot of search results that look relevant to one project or another. Could someone provide an application for converting any .htm file I produce by exporting a folder of favorites from Internet Explorer into a text file formatted to make it suitable for posting as a normal message, with the appropriate codes to make any links clickable?

Still no application; looks like few people want any more of my lists of assorted links relevant to a particular project.

Re: An application for converting .htm files into parts of posts?

Did you search with Bing or Google? There seem to be some interesting hits for something that ends in BBcode. http://www.bing.com/search?q=converting+bookm...mp;form=QBRE&filt=all and http://www.bing.com/search?q=converting+html+...mp;form=QBRE&filt=all

Since the format is rather uniform you could even do a little coding in Excel or other spreadsheet to achieve this. Prefixing [url= insert the ] the label and suffix the [/url ] combined with a little search to find the .suffix of a bookmark address for correct placement.

I didn't, since I couldn't think of what to tell them to search for.

I'll look at the possibilities you found tomorrow.
