More CMD2 beta's?

Will there be more CMD2 Beta's, or will the project be starting soon?

Re: More CMD2 beta's?

Your question seems to have shaken the heavens open ... 3 new beta WUs fell out over the last couple of hours and landed at my feet.

[Edit]: Run-times for the 3 WUs were 0.53, 1.1 and 1.0 hr, which is rather short and this was the main reason that I posted. However, other crunchers have reported more normal run times - see below.

Re: More CMD2 beta's?

I just got one too and it looks like it will take about 1.5+- hours to complete.

Update: took 1 hour to get to the 50% mark, so should be around 2 hours total.
This is on an i7 running 2.66GHz with hyper-threading on.

I just got 4 more across 2 PCs. Balthazar is an i7 under Vista, and Melchior is a Core2Quad Q6600 under Windows 7.

i7 is estimating just over 6 each.

So far, they look to average about 2 hours a piece with the quickest machine crunching at a pace to complete in 1.5 hours and the slowest machine crunching at a pace of just over 2.5 hours.

Re: More CMD2 beta's?

Had one. It took 00:14:51.

Big contrast to the 140 hour unit that is still running. I guess I did not need to push it to the front of the line.

Re: More CMD2 beta's?

I picked up four units across three machines, fast and slow. These are short ones for sure with 0:50-1:50 completions (one estimated as still running). This is the first time anything other than my i7 950 3.46GHz managed to pick up a WU and I like the possible implications on numbers...

These all ran super-quick, I don't believe any took more than 2 hours.
