Aborted this WU after 34.69 hours@1.75%. Results summary shows another abortion for this WU ending at 11.48 hours. WU was running on a Q6600/Vista. Hopefully this is a 'one of' situation. Cheers, Rog.

I've got a replication of this WU and just restarted BOINC after 28 hours of elapsed time at 0.975% progress. Now it begins from the scratch.

Hello Dieter Matuschek,
I would abort it. I am patient, but only the dead are THAT patient. Lawrence |

Thanks for the update on this WU, Dieter. I'm sorry U got caught as well. FWIW your experience suggests that aborting the beast was and is the correct action to take....Cheers, Rog.

Did you check the quorum detail before doing so? Getting an initial percentage CAN take longer.

Uh, I didn't...
it says a different iteration succeeded in completion -_- Is there a guide that deals with this kind of stuff, as to when would be a good time to abort? |
