Totally new to all this and I find the language so tech-dense that I don't understand it and don't have the time or inclination to try to figure it out (it would be like trying to learn physics, which I flunked), but I'm devoting anywhere from 12-24 hours a day on my only computer, with 100% of it available most of the time, so...
----------------------------------------I'm curious why I have 4 pending validations: April 6, 11, 12 and 13. When I click on the pending validation links, I see things like "autogrid4: WARNING: Oxygen atom found with no bonded atoms, atom serial number 609, atom_type 6" or "autogrid4: WARNING: Attempt to divide by zero was just prevented."or "Unrecognized XML in parse_init_data_file: computation_deadline". Clueless as to what these mean, almost certainly wouldn't understand an explanation, but I'd like to know: Is my computer doing something wrong? Because if it is, I should take it off the project and extend its useful life to me while lowering my electric bill. Thanks. ![]() |

Nothing is wrong.
The result logs are for the techs to study when things go wrong, and they have lots of harmless warnings in them: http://wcg.wikia.com/wiki/Result_log_warnings Most results validate within a few days. More details here: http://wcg.wikia.com/wiki/Validation In short: don't worry, be happy. |

Hi,
----------------------------------------What if you click on a *Valid* result of the same project? If the log then shown is the same as a Pending Validation result log you can be well sure that it is just all benign in 99.999% of the cases, no physics diploma required.

Thanks. That's all I wanted to know. Especially about the physics part.
