How many points .... ?

I've heard about some of these killer tasks. I finally downloaded a "mini killer."

Right now its at 98% after 80hrs and 38 minutes (almost to the sec.).

Anybody care to venture a guess as to how many points Rosetta will allot this task at 100%? (I have no idea!) confused

Re: How many points .... ?

Check your Avarage Points Per Hour of Run Time value and then just multiply it by Task Run Time shown by the agent, when it's almost done...

Re: How many points .... ?

smile Hi Julied
Based on your points per hour as shown below
Avg. Points Per Hour of Run Time 28.36441
Should take 82.28 hours X 28.36441 = 2333 points
biggrin Gotta like that number

Re: How many points .... ?

Pretty good formula, Graham. It turned out to be 2350 points. biggrin

Hope you're packing them in at the shows.

Btw, I have to confess that I could not believe that the manufacturers would stand by their warranty if the user ran their PC 100% 24/7. I contacted the manufacturer (Compaq/HP). They were quite direct in saying that yes, PCs are built to operate under these conditions. They also stated that if the cpu gets fried during the warranty period under this load, they will replace the cpu at no charge.

So Graham and Lawerence, I owe you an apology. You were correct.

P.S. Of course I will never forgive the two of you. wink
