I accidentally gave a new agent on a new Windows machine the wrong member name to connect with. How can I go about changing it? I do not see a configuration option for this.

Well, I'm not sure if there is a simple way of doing so...
----------------------------------------The easiest, I know, is just to reinstall the agent. You can also try to change for example name in member profile page, so that the agent won't be able to log on to servers and should ask you for the correct name and password. Then you should be able (possibly...) to change both member name and password that the agent will use to log on with. However, I'm not sure if that won't create some kind of conflict - downloading WU and sending the result from different accounts...?  Good luck, |

To change a current member name to another member name that is unused and available, go to My Grid - My Profile and edit the member name, then click Save. But if you want to switch a computer from one existing member account to another, then I think that the only way is to uninstall and reinstall the WCG software, being careful to check the 'Previous member' box when signing in to the desired member account.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I wound up uninstalling then reinstalling the agent and am now happily adding cycles to my team.
