VC++ runtime error on all machines running BOINC 5.x
I am getting multiple popups of a Visual C++ runtime error relating to the BOINC processes (the more cores on the machine, the more times it pops up). This has occurred on all machines running BOINC this morning.

Machines are running 5.10 and 5.4 BOINC. On one machine, a WU is reporting a computation error; on others, no errors. Another machine is stacking up completed work units without communication. The 3rd is communicating just fine. I know, they're old BOINC versions - if you can offer a really good explanation of why I should upgrade, I will, otherwise, they've been working fine until this morning.

Error explanation from MS:
The program could not load a driver because the program user doesn't have sufficient privileges to access the driver or because the drive is missing or corrupt.


Strange it's happened on all machines at the same time and on the same process...

This is just a "me too"

I don't know if it'll help get a response to this post - but I got the same errors this morning. Also am not able to communicate to upload or download new tasks.
