biggrin WCG - Wordpress Widget

Hello!

I wrote a widget for wordpress. It allows you to show your World Community Grid badges and statistics in the sidebar of your wordpress blog. Feel free to use it and give me feedback.

Click here for the plugin and a little manual.

confused Re: WCG - Wordpress Widget

Hello!

One technical question: How can I use the verification code from here in my plugin? The facebook application uses this verification code too.

Thanks

Re: WCG - Wordpress Widget

Cool. U should probably considering to help the WCG guys to develop something else than the iframe based widget solution ...

Because I am not using my own wordpress installation but the wordpress hosted one (as so many others do to) - I can not install my own widgets plugins but I am stucking with the one wordpress provides.

So there is only the text widget availabe to use HTML code and WORDPRESS does not allow IFRAME ...

I really wonder why the WCG gyus were not able yet to find another solution than the IFRAME based. I mean, wordpress is probably the #1 blog platform - and the WCG widget does not work on those blogs ...

So, thanks again for your work - but we ordinary wordpress-hosted bloggers can still not include a WCG widget in our blogs.

/h.

Moin Heiko!

I think, that the iframe solution is the simplest solution. You don't need PHP, a wordpress blog or another programming language, you just need HTML.

I programmed another tool to show your badges: You can find it here in german or here in english.

You enter your username and the number of badges side by side and you'll get a picture with all your badges:

Perhaps you can use this for your blog?
