tluehr,
----------------------------------------If you're processing WU's from batch 479, then yes, I do believe that these were shorter - a lot shorter (certainly the ones I had). It appears though that the later batches (i.e., 481/482), are a lot longer - perhaps, even up to 3 times as long... The WU that I'm currently proceesing (E000481_376B_00252i00f_0--), is just about to finish off at just under 17 hours, whilst I've seen a WU that I've yet to start on, although my wingman has already finished, with a time of 29 hours!!! ![]() |

Run time estimates are based on the current average flops of previous work, so with what we know today, it can be shorter or longer.
----------------------------------------Be assured that deadlines are set so that they can be comfortably met. As eluded, I have proposed to limit "in progress" numbers for this project on a per-client basis, so all can have a bite and get cozy with the project durations, decrease batch completion times, 8 days is my oldest in PV, and to self-protect those that get overzealous in grabbing work. After all, batch completion is more important than anything else causing the scientists to delay their analysis, before they can release the next set for crunching. 2 gold sovereigns -^^-
