Re: Feb 2011 RT Challenge

Fun being your Captain! love struck

Got to take care of some stuff in March that will necessitate shutting down all my machines end of the month and start of April. Once I'm back, be thinking about what other trouble, er, challenges we might want to get into. biggrin devilish

Once again, a huge thank you to those who joined us to play. hugs

Re: Feb 2011 RT Challenge

Quicker machines give better points.. Not much you can do with runtime as 24 hours is 24 hours... Just depends on how many cores you have running for those 24 hours... laughing laughing

applause Re: Feb 2011 RT Challenge

PG... I ran several weak sisters that bumped the runtime up without contributing a tremendous amount of points...that's the way this game is played

@ Light House as soon as I can get some work @ Docking I'll be there 100%...until I get a call for help

EDIT : It's been a grueling 3 months ; I need to do some DeFrags, regedits etc. and get ready for the next hard core runs

One more time...thanx to those that don't generally crunch for SC@WCG for your contributions, and those that came back to help!!!

I'm working stats as we speak

Re: Feb 2011 RT Challenge

Thanks to everyone that piled on for that last mega-crunch.

LH - thanks for the cycles. See you next time and happy crunching. cool

I'm going to take a few machines down in the upcoming days as soon as I have a chance to back up and strip my personal bits off. They should be crunching intermittently for new folks on my account whenever they turn them on. Dunno how often that will be, but my stats will drop.

Gonna plummet anyway end of the month when I go migratory and have to turn the whole shebang off. straight face

cool Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Big mistakes : According to Wikipedia the M104 distance is 29.3 Mly with an uncertainty of 1.6 Mly, not 50,000. Its diameter is 100 kly
Its mass is 800G sun mass, that's not the number of its suns/stars.

Notes :
kly means kilo Light Years
Mly means Million Light Years

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Glad to have been some help to you all.....

Still got some units to crunch so letting them finish then it's 100% Docking.
