LH...total run time...all Cores totaled ....500 Cores running 24/7 equals 84,000 hours run time per week ...{in a perfect world with no dropped WU's and not counting PV Jail} ...as long as the WU's get submitted on time; in the long run the average should work out to # of CORESXHours on Challenge; there will be some quirks but this should be the basic formula; and YES a Quad will register as 4 separate machines as it computes 4 WU's separately yet simultaneously as I understand it
----------------------------------------.... I think I counted 5 or 6 unused computers at my office today. Not powerful machines, but they can run, and the heat won't hurt in my house either. I've added 2 and have 2 more installing windows; not going to update windows, just install Boinc and run ...probably be able to add 4 or 5 more weak sisters as I find them; I should be able to put close to 30 processors online for a runtime challenge....I Hope!!! Finally found what I think is an extra monitor cable that will let me hook Diesel Decible to an old Dell monitor and switch on [if I can get the monitor to somehow fit on the shelf]. That will add a dual for me if all works. Big IF!
