Great Job Edo!! If I didn't break mine I cameclose.
----------------------------------------On the other front; I jut got an email from support@WCG: Thank you for taking the time to contact us. We will email the current team captain (tebrino) and will give them 14 days from today to respond. If they do not respond, we will make you the new team captain. In the meantime, please let us know if there is a certain team challenge you would like to join, and we will make sure your team joins that challenge. Thank you for your support! Edo the challenge you posted is closed to late entrants; if you can find another?!?!?...Also while I was playing 'God' @ the other SC team I saw some pretty interesting Challenges coming up for Feb. one in particular was a time challenge; with all the older boxes crunching for us that one might be a good idea

You want old equipment, I'm your girl! Running everything from the primordial slime with what, a whopping 512 of RAM, all the way up to diesel rigs.

Run time is all that matters on that Challenge; as long as you can get work in before the deadline ...ALL'S GOOD...
----------------------------------------I can easily average 22 days in 24 hours; but I may only get 3500>4000 Cobblestones! 26,000>28,000 WCG's GP ...Ive lost count of how many 1.8 Gig laptops with 512 RAM are heating my house! 25degrees F... no problem turn the furnace off, 'puters like to work in the cold, it'll be comfortable when I get in from work!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Sport at Jan 5, 2011 11:50:26 PM] |

@ EDO: congratulations!
----------------------------------------@ Sport: How does a "time" challenge work? Is is hours per CPU (i.e. 4 core processors get 4 hours per elapsed hour) or 1 hour per compouter box? I think I counted 5 or 6 unused computers at my office today. Not powerful machines, but they can run, and the heat won't hurt in my house either. ![]() ![]() |
