 So here the status for the challenges that we're running.Considering we only started yesterday, we went from 40th to 16th in 1 day. I think we will climb pretty well.  Christmas Race 2017 Points All Projects 12/25/2017 pos. 16 ........................................................................................... We will probably climb a little might finish about 7th or 8th.  Dec 2017 By-results All-projects Results Returned All Projects 12/31/2017 pos. 10 ................................................................................................ Run time is run time. We might climb a little higher later in the month.  The Dollars Run 1217 Run Time All Projects 12/31/2017 pos. 8 ............................................................................................ We will climb higher in the next couple of days ( my 5 machines have not started crunching the project yet.)  S#C 2017DecCancerFight Points Mapping Cancer Markers 12/31/2017 pos.17 ............................................................................................... I hope we stay here but, When the machines start crunching other projects we will probably slide a little. VCIII 201712 MIP Run Time Run Time Microbiome Immunity Project 12/31/2017 pos. 2 ................................................................................................. There you have it. Will check daily but unless things change will only post once a week. ( you all should know by now how lazy I am.)   |

So now I have to install win 10 on my baby laptop.
---------------------------------------- It ended up having cascading failure starting with edge browser.  Should be back up and running sometime today.  The only thing is I had 3 wu at 90+% , now nada. Oh well will make it up eventually. |

Yes, exactly as I predicted in a Base Camp post yesterday: Now I know why I couldn’t find SeriousCrunchers on the scoreboard for the Christmas Challenge 2017 - and see: you are right behind us, as long as that lasts. - I looked up above us, but at the moment they are actually below us at #16. That will change Tomorrow you may have passed us unless we bump into some miracle  On the tech side, my lappy is happily crunching away. I'm glad it survived the Windows 10 install, sujo1. You never know. I tend to get awfully nervous at each ordinary Windows update  |

I will probably run Linux on the new crunchers, It is my understanding that they crunch faster = more work per thread per day.
