That we set out filling the #3 posistion is a total - and pleasant - surprise to me. Saphir12, the Team Kraland capitaine, and I made a bet for fun before the race started - that Team Kraland and SeriousCrunchers would end up as a shared #8. And I even thought that was far too optimistic.
And look at us now! It's been a long time since I made percentage calculus, but I think I did it right. SeriousCrunchers are 149,027 points behind #2 DataValidation.com which according to my math amounts to approximately 6.5%. And we are well ahead of #4, CRUNCHERS SANS FRONTIERES, at 1,153,952 who will need some good binoculars to see us speeding along 1,013,554 points ahead of them. This morning I don't see any update so far, so these numbers still stand. |

Per free-dc...Royden passes 30,000,000 Fantastic crunching LM, As far as I can tell the were only using about 75% of their ability on day 1 of the challenge. ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by sujo1 at Nov 10, 2017 3:40:10 PM] |

Not quite, sujo1
Total: 4,588,702 less Day 1: 2,316,524 = Day 2: 2,272,178 So, actually, they were down 44,346 points compared to yesterday which means the turned in 98.09% of the first day’s result ~ a drop of just 1.91% Some great, consistent crunching Now they have places on the internet where you can do these calculations The one I used is good because it also shows the actual formula used to get the result - great for refreshing those rusty skills ![]() - and it refers me to places that want to grant me instant loans - and it has a DataValadation.com ad ![]() |

BTW, Ted, I'm so glad I made into that pie at the last moment
because Saphir12-Nathalie - my Sony Xperia - finally thought it was just too much to put all of her 8 cores to work. She stopped her microphone. People could not hear me when I called them or they called me ... I read in a post here that you couldn't engage all cores, because the cell phone is not strong enough, but Saphir12-Nathalie and I could, right? Bummer! So sent four cores on vacation. Down to seven - and I don't even know if the mike has started working in earnest apart from the Upstairs Yvonne test |

Who would'a thunk you could crunch WCG on a phone.
