OK, I got my baseline for the daily elec. bill. Turned on my quad but, only 1 CPU running boinc for the moment ( baby steps ) will see the increase in power consuption. If all goes well will increase to the second CPU. With any luck will go all in for the winter. Fingers crossed.

----------------------------------------Not tested for power consumption accurate like but have found setting boinc to use 85% of CPU through the warm days does have the lecky meter spinning notably slower. go have some fun....I've taken a look around the place and think I can watch the door ....you've got it pretty secure AS always!!!! Increased the comp to 3 cpus.
---------------------------------------- the daily consumption has gone from $2.40 to $3.28. While that is an increase the Texas heat will not give up still using AC for part of the day so, the numbers are not true usage amounts.  I want the daily to Ave. $4.00 a day with comps running full tilt.  Probably a pipe dream as still have another quad and dually to fire up. Later. |

All goes well my end at six cores. Plenty sun be blasting them solar panels into crunchy goodness. |

Yes,Orakk I have just upped to a total of nine cores a crunching. May have 1more to crank up.;-) I don't think they will do more than 3800/4000 a day. Reinstalled the android app on 1tablet @1.2 GHz so not expecting much from it.:-\ We shall see.
