BOINC for Windows98-resolved

There are still some projects that will run on a 98 machine, keep in mind, you will need at least 128mb of RAM and at least a 266 processor. I currently have 3 machines running 98 and 2 of them are 266's (WU's take about 4 days to complete)

Y'all have a great day smile

Re: BOINC for Windows98

Thanks for the info everyone. Didn't know the old download was still available on the site. As for the newer versions on '98, must be my machines. I've tried the newer versions as they came out but they all had the same result, error. The newer versions just would not connect to the project on my machines. No problem though as I'm updating to Windows 2000 on these machines. Would love to use XP but I ran out of product keys.

Y'all have a beary good day cool
