This Friday March 27, 2009 marked a new week record of 1,726 CPU years. More impressively though, as of the official start of the World Community Grid on November 16, 2004, 1592 days young and going strong, 227 weeks running unrelenting, we've now averaged over One Thousand CPU years per 7 day period from the beginning of our grid.
----------------------------------------Awesome.

It's funny because yesterday, two hours after this thread, i started a new thread about how WCG grow in 4 years and a half.
----------------------------------------I just see your post today and there are a little beat similar. One thousand CPU year per week is enormous ! ![]() |

In my parallel universe there are those that seed thought and read thought
---------------------------------------- With a little "influencing" lots of things can be achieved. A guy called John Nash managed to put some into equations that are widely used and known as the "game theory". Anyway, whether knreed was knobbing, or things falling in place or the launch Help Fight Childhood Cancer (and WCG knows where there was greatest uptake), this weekend broke records and a Sunday that had 253 CPU years come together. If you see blue footings or green background on those footings, it's records and or milestones. Have a nice day. PS: DST should not have impact as WCG is and remains on UTC, but who knows were people doing things slightly different this summertime change over weekend.

And still another milestone missed: 100,000 CPU days exceeded in a single day. The exact number was 102,765.6 on Monday March 30, 2009.

Ok, so this day too looking like the averages are being increased. Since HFCC has now accumulated enough CPU years to become visible in the whole, carved out a slice for them in the WCG Pie and added some labels for the projects, too small to have their own,
