HTCC download problem

I am posting on behalf of a team member who is having trouble downloading HTCC WUs

His BM is giving the following error message:
World Community Grid/ scheduler request failed: problem with the SSL CA cert (path? access rights?)

Help required please!

This is a common error, but we will need some more information to fix it.

Edit: the error message indicates the member is using an old version of BOINC. Our recommended version is here: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/reg/ms/viewDownloadAgain.do
