Well I'm happy with the current system in place. I like the idea of really working for those badges cos then you know you earned it!

Are there any 5-year badges/recognitions? Can't see any myself Nothing higher than Sapphire (2 years) right now, but more levels will be added later. Please let's not discuss again about which levels it will be. Better look for threads with "badge" in their title and browse through them. Anyway they are just for the sake of throwing numbers all around, the real new levels will be what the staff thinks appropriate. Cheers. Jean. Sorry, I wasn't saying there would be a badge at 5 years, that was just kinda what I would have like to be able to get to with one project. Once I hit blue (can't spell the gem) with all that are active I was just gonna shoot for another goal, though prob just work each project a year at a time. I think that when WCG had to come up with new badges (red, green and blue) because computational power and people adding more machines is AWESOME, because it means we are getting more and more work done. WCG can add badges, subtract badges, multiply badges at whim or will, as long as they let me crunch!   |
