4 badges, that is correct. I'm currently working on a batch for Rice so I can get a Bronze for that one. Apparently that project is not far from finishing up smile

I think the addicting part is watching my stats & points go up and knowing I am contributing something of value back to society and research cool

Absolutely!

And coincedentally, I just made saphire for HFCC!
So I'm going back to Rice now to see if I can get a blue
before they are all gone. Minus a new computer though, there's no way I can get to 5 years. Too bad the new Macpro with the gulftown is so expensive (especially with 2 of them!) not to mention they aren't out yet.

Gulftown? Had to ask my friend Google what that was and I will be damned! To think technology will even permit for a 6-core system! By 2020 they're gonna have like a 12-core system with something like a 8 nm architecture. God-damn! tongue

No, not yet.... Currently the highest is 2 years (Sapphire), although there are moves afoot to add even more levels on top of that. As yet though, people are only guessing as to what they are going to be - and the current thinking is 5 years (then 10, 20, 50, 100 etc.).

Nothing higher than Sapphire (2 years) right now, but more levels will be added later.
Please let's not discuss again about which levels it will be. Better look for threads with "badge" in their title and browse through them. Anyway they are just for the sake of throwing numbers all around, the real new levels will be what the staff thinks appropriate. smile
